Sleep Apnea Mask Problems
Someone with sleep apnea have this problem?
My husband has sleep apnea and he puts on the CPAP mask. During the last couple of weeks has started to wake during the night because he is vomiting. I wonder if this is related to sleep apnea may be caused vomiting by loss of breath? I know he stopped breathing during the night because I hear him breath. Just wondering if I call your PCP or a specialist for it.
My question is … Does your husband have GERD also known as acid reflux? This can sometimes cause the symptoms you describe. Should be treated sleeping with your head a little higher and talk to your doctor about sleep. My other question is that he is at his optimum pressure or are going for the trial period before titration to the optimum pressure? The combination of the two could definitely cause some problems. I would like to search some help from your doctor's sleep. Not sure of your question, if you are using CPAP with these symptoms or if hes not. Good luck
