Obstructive Sleep Apnea
This question is in regards to Obstructive Sleep Apnea and people who have had surgery to correct it.?
I have 3 options to choose from and one of them is surgery which is probably what I will opt for as my insurance will pay for it. How long was your surgery? What was your recovery time? We’re there certain things you couldn’t do during your recovery time such as not being able to eat certain foods for example. Anything you can tell me would be most helpful. I have a friend who had a surgery for her sleep apnea. She was given a 3 weeks off sick from work to recover from her surgery. The surgery lasted about 2 hours including the time in the recovery room. She can’t blow her nose after the surgery. Bleeding was also a problem after but that will actually stop. You have to drink and gargle cold water to help stop the bleeding. My friend have already recovered and does not suffer from sleep apnea after the surgery.
