A CPAP machine will improve the health of a person with sleep apnea?
I have sleep apnea and am scheduled to pick up a machine CPAP this week. I found them to be uncomfortable when I spent the night at the sleep clinic, but I'll give it a try. My sleep apnea is moderate to severe, so I have to try something to improve my condition. I've heard people say that he had not slept so well in the years after using the CPAP. Can anyone out there give me an opinion? If you are uncomfortable at first may eventually get used to them?
It takes about 2 weeks to get used to the machine. They are wonderful, once you get used to them, I promise! I hated mine at first! But my wife wanted me to live! I swear it made me feel 20 years young (am 61). I fought him at first! But it's the best thing that ever happened to me, I only wish hadden't been stubborn to resist sonofwhaterver to go to the sleep laboratory in the first place! Give it time you really will feel better! Try different face parts, like the guy who just fit in the nose only … Try and use a chin strap to keep your mouth shut. His face is free! Good luck be with him! APS
